I need someone to explain to me why I can INSTANTLY remember that this guy's name is Odo, but I don't remember a damn thing about him.

You are good at remembering names only?

I'm actually horrible with names. And while I have watched a lot of star trek it was mostly when it first aired, I don't really watch reruns. But for whatever reason I remember the name and that I didn't care much for the character.
