I'm actually horrible with names. And while I have watched a lot of star trek it was mostly when it first aired, I don't really watch reruns. But for whatever reason I remember the name and that I didn't care much for the character.

The show Discovery stars his sister Michael. We didn't know about her because she and her ship got transported 800 years into the future and the whole thing was classified to the highest level. Pike knew, and of course Spock. Happened years before Kirk assumed command. Enterprise under Pike was involved. I think Uhuru was there as well.
