This may come as a shock to you, but..... Yea. That's entirely possible. My point, from the start, was "what caused them to snap?" What was the reason RR was targeted?

The thing that I don't get is they say the undercover officers were "off duty" so were these cops part of the group as regular members? The whole thing is really getting confusing. The cop that did report it, waited three days to report.

There's a glaring consistency in the makeup of all the thugs who have been arrested or named as instigators by the authorities in this entire story (and it ain't the fact they were riding motorcycles).
