Starting to think

Well The past couple weeks I have been thinking about getting a bike. Put my truck on Ebay, bids got up to like $1,000. I wouldn't sell the rims and tires for that price :lmao: If the truck and the 55's go I think I will be getting me a bike. Not sure if I'm going new or used yet, might see what deals I come across. :larry: :howdy:

Lots of deals out there. Check out Cycle Trader. Some in somd classifieds.
I've got to do some clearing out before I really start looking. I've been collecting too many toys and not getting rid of them for new ones. I don't have room for anything else :lmao: .... Well a bike is small so I'm sure I could find a place for it :lmao:

nice looking bike
2 of my cousins got bikes when I was 15. I drove my cousins Super Glide and that was nice. The other was an anniversary Fat Boy. Back then that was a little too much for me to trust myself driving it. They both sold their bikes a couple years after they got them. I know if I get one they will go out and get new ones with me.

What stinks is I would not be able to drive it to work, but it would be nice to cruise around on after and on the weekends.

Company gives me an auto allowance, part of the rules are no Bikes on company time. If I was on one jobsite it wouldn't be a problem but if I am running more thn one job and have to go back and forth thats when I couldn't be on a bike.

Do you have to carry supplies or something? I mean if only you have to go back and forth it's just as easy to go on a bike. If you have to transport people or supplies then I see your point.

Some companies insurance doesn't provide coverage if you're on a bike.
You're covered if you're driving drunk, but not sober on a bike :ohwell:

Yeah our Safety guy is always on us. Thats pretty much what it boils down too though. They figure your safer in a car and do not want the liability on company time.

Only thing I carry around is my laptop.

Yeah, it figures, you're covered if you're changing your kids diaper while driving a minivan. God forbid you should actually want to ride a motorcycle, and try to do your bit to be "green".
