They have always treated me well, had fair pricing, and they gave me a good price on my homeowners policy too :yay:

Because he's a young male with a sports car, and he wonders why his payments are so high.

Wouldnt exactly consider a Pontiac G5 a sports car, but apparently his insurance does.

Thats like saying a Chevy Cavalier or Pontiac Sunfire was a sports car....

:yeahthat: Husband has been with them for over 20yrs and I have been with them for over 10yrs. My only complaint with them was when Barbara Stinnett's daughter in law hit my car and tried to get her MIL to get her out of paying for it. State Farm tried backing down to her but I wouldn't have it. They finally declared her at fault and she had to pay.

I have had state farm for 12 years. I love them! They were not always the lowest but if you get in an accident they will take care of you!

Why do you think they suck? I'm use State Farm and was just wondering.

A little upset about being charged to change my policy. They friggin' charge your more money just so they can charge you more money. They sat there and explained all of the charges and what they cover but didn't mention a thing about this. So, it's needless to say I was a little stunned when I went online to pay my bill and saw it was nearly $450. :faint:

And the fact that they consider it a sports car is just ridiculous. Apparently, having a 2-door coupe with a rear wing automatically justifies it being a sports car.

But, if they call it a sports car, so will I.

What veh did you change? Are you getting all your discounts? Do you have any tickets or accidents?

I mean if you go from a 1970 pinto to a 2008 mustang you have to expect a bit of an increase :dur:

When I had 4 cars insured I didn't even pay that much :lmao: One had a Hemi, One had a Vette motor, and the others were little cars.

I have 3 tagged and insured now, Suburban, Blazer, and my 55. I have not looked in a long time but I know its less than $200 a month

I'm not sure what you mean by being charged to change your policy. I've made lots changes to my policies over the years and have never been charge for making the change. Now, if the change involved an increase in coverage, that might increase the premium but there was no charge for making the change. I've been with State Farm for 23 years now and have been happy with them. I have several policies with them (cars, house, life, disability, etc). Around 1990 they moved me from State Farm Std to State Farm Mutual so I started getting dividends based on regional claims performance. I can cash the dividends or put them toward my premiums.

I actually use Allstate right now.

I am going to switch my 55 and insure my Chevelle with Grundy when I get around to changing. For the 55 full coverage valued at $30,000 it will cost $13 a month :lmao:
