I think that the hydrogen-idea last night was quite intriguing and I think that in the current budget, President Bush proposed an accpetable amount of money. His tax cut plan is lacking and so are his spending initiatives for the prescription drug benefit. We should give all seniors affordable drugs, not just the incredibly poor or the rich.
Still though, I received a great impression from the president last night. He had great compassionate rhetoric and he did satisfy the demands for helping the less fortunate and those that want help. AIDS funding is especially compassionate on Bush's part. I don't care if his motivation was for pr, after all, all politicans have pr motivations. He acted last night, now let's hope that Congress follows through.
