Since when is internet access a necessity?

Since most people stopped posting job announcements in the paper, or houses for sell/rent. I was a little miffed when our realtor told us she put an add in the Enterprise for our house. I'm like, seriously? Who reads the paper anymore?

It sounds as though she needs to retire.

Why is it the taxpayers responsibly to take care of the disabled ?
How did we manage to get through the first 200 + - years with just the family, friends and the church taking care of the folks that couldn't or wouldn't take care of themselves.

I don't think its so much taking care of them, as it is aiding them by finding jobs they are suitable for and helping them with education and independent living.

I'm so sick of party loyalty I could puke up a body part.

Is that what the problem is? Because I was about ready to claim you have Parkinson's like Hillary given how much you shuck and jive every time someone says something critical of Trump.

I could give a crap about "party loyalty" because I actually have none..zero..zippy. I've voted for candidates from both parties in MD over the years and gave up on the Republican Party nationally after the 2012 election fiascos.

I simply recognize that a long-established existing state program was "updated" and Hogan is taking credit for that because it happened on his watch. Some of his Dem detractors caught a bone he threw. In the overall scheme of things....a huge yawner. There are so many more important issued to be dealt with and Hogan seems to be getting along OK despite the Dem majority that he has to work with.

Like why St Marys County would ignore two lower bids for Library/Senior Center. Closer to home than Annapolis.

I'm not going to get my panties in a wad on that one unless it comes out that the scoring system used for the selection was faulty. In my world, awarding contracts strictly and only the basis of low bid is a death knell to project success.

And what would that have to do with Hogan or the state legislature?

Yup. I've seen it over and again.

What does that mean, "getting along okay"? Has he done something conservative that I'm unaware of?

Quite a few things. Mostly rolling back stuff O'Malley had started, but that's fine too. Beats all heck out the situation we would be in if ole Anthony had been elected instead.

Well that's a fat load of bull####. If a Democrat were doing to stuff Hogan is doing, you'd be one of the first ones on here to criticize them.

Never mind. I'm out. You all believe whatever makes you feel good. And hey! Keep voting for them there Republicans because they're the good guys! :yay:

Nah. I'll just keep voting for either one...depending on what I think they'll get done. :yay:
