If one isn't driving like an azz, one would not have to worry about whether or not the cars are unmarked troopers...

:yay:
OR violating the noise ordinances most communities have
BOOM
BOOM
BOOM
while cruising at 3 mph, reclining towards the middle of the front seat, and cranking those speakers and rattling all the other cars near right off the road...THATs not a racial thing...that's a dum@zz thing. no hope of ever hearing a d@mn thing when you mature.

and i guess he could tell you were black behind the tinted windows going 55 mph too huh? Ever try to ID someone INSIDE a vehicle, cruising down the road in front of you? or zooming past in the dark when the interior of the entire vehicle IS black?
oh I forgot, white folks aren't allowed to drive an escalade.

Not to many white people rollin deep on 26" chrome spinners. you guys just like to buy big trucks with big mud tires

 Where did you hear that? I've always been told (including in the MVA handbooks and driver's ed classes) that the rule of thumb is 2 seconds...period. 3 seconds per 10 mph means that you'd have a 15 second following distance when going 50 mph. That's just stupid.

Go work for a trucking company and see what you get told about a safe following distance. I was always told by the driver trainers that a safe following distance is 7 to 10 seconds for a vehicle going 55mph, but my husband on the other hand has been driving alot longer than I have. He has also driven tractor trailers when he was younger and knows what he's talking about...he's just a bit more cautious them some people are. In other words....he would rather be safe then sorry.

try living in PA....there's ton's of them....you can't get away from them.
And safe following distance for a car is 7 to 10 mph when you are behind a tractor trailer...guess I should have said that. For tractor trailers on the other hand....a full loaded trailer 80,000 lbs....takes up to 3 football fields to come to complete and sudden stop...and that's if they are going over 55mph.

So, if I live in PA, I have to drive a tractor trailer?
Safe following distance for a car is 7 to 10 mph...so if the tractor trailer is going 55 mph, I have to drive at 45-48 mph?

Are you trying to swallow both feet?
