Steelers @ Redskins

Let's start this thread early. Post your thoughts and general trash talkin' here.

This game will be a defensive battle, obviously. I think the teams are evenly matched, especially so with the injuries.

Pittsburgh

Santonio Holmes - Probably suspended sometime this week
Safety Ryan Clark
Punter
Longsnapper
O-line
I know there are more...

Redskins

Shawn Springs - out
Jason Taylor - out (I think this is for the best. Demetric Evans stops the run better)
Santana Moss - questionable with hammy
Clinton Portis - probable with ankle sprain
Chris Samuels - questionable with knee

This game will come down to mistakes. This can occur on offense, defense, or special teams because all three phases will be crucial in this type of game.

Can't wait for Monday Night Football so I can scream from section 217.:yahoo:

Key match-ups

Portis and Hogs vs. Steelers front 7

Redskins front 7 vs. Willie Parker and Moore

Both teams need to get pressure on the opposing QB. Steelers are much better at that.

With Springs out, Carlos needs to have a career game.

low 5... hi 5......
I am a skins fan,

but the though of all of our injured players doesnt sit to well with me...

It is hard to win in DC regardless. on Monday Night its even harder....

I think the skins will squeak through with a WIN...

Update:

Chris Samuels and Moss will play. Springs and Taylor are out for sure.

Everyone else is set to go.

Santonio Holmes was not disciplined by the league, surprisingly. He is set to play, which will give the Skins some problems without Springs.

Willie Parker didn't practice fully on Wednesday but is set to play.

I like to click around on the NFL stats pages (assuming that's where you got it), good stuff you have there. :yay:

FIGHT CLUB !
Big Ben has a hurt shoulder. No secret in the NFL or to the Skins defense.

Big Ben also makes a lot of stupid throws under pressure.

I look for the Skins D to step it up with alot of blitz's and make the Big Boy throw interceptions.

17 to 10 SKINS

The league usually waits for the legal process to finish. I'm sure he'll get a suspension down the road. I like the way Coach Tomlin dealt with it by making him inactive for last week game. He wasn't even allowed on the sideline (inactive/injured players are normally allowed). Tomlin talked to him and told him he would see him Monday after the game.
