I made myself finish the book and I didn't like the first movie. It was dumb.I saw the original and read the book, that was enough for me.Enjoy the show!!!

I read the book first, and it was one of my favorite all-time books. Then I saw the miniseries. The miniseries wasn't bad in its own medium, I suppose, but I always got the impression that unless you had read the book and had some context, a lot of it wouldn't make sense. Also the miniseries left out most of my favorite scenes (oh my god the deadlights) and characters (i am the turtle) and you never got to see the true nature if It (in the void).
I truly hope that they capture that in the movie.
