yea STEVENSON POOLS IS "MY VOICE" BECAUSE THE PEOPLE DEFENDING THEM ARE THE ONLY ONES WITH COMMON SENSE UNLIKE ALL OF YOU CHILDISH PEOPLE CALLING OTHERS NAMES BECAUSE YOU FEEL BAD ABOUT YOUR LIFE!!! I can tell you right now that if I ever got a pool, it WOULD NOT be with Stevenson. The reps that have posted on here are unprofessional jerks who act like third graders.
When someone has a consumer complaint about your business, the appropriate thing to do is address and resolve it - ESPECIALLY when several people post that they've had the same experience with the company. Instead, they got on here and acted like a bunch of asshats. That should tell you all you need to know about doing business with Stevenson Pools.

I agree. I was about to get myself a Stevenson Pool until I read the Stevenson Pool advocates in this thread.

They're obviously employees and/or owners. Nobody creates a forum account specifically to defend a local business. AND if they did, they would post about their *good* experience instead of attacking the dissatisfied customers.

Don't you read up on companies before you make a major purchase? I don't see anything wrong with what the initial poster did. She had a bad experience with a company. She documented her experience and lets the readers judge for themselves whether her experience is enough to deter them from using the company's service. Epinions, reviews on Google, the BBB, Consumer Reports etc. were created for the same reason - Consumers want to be sure they are wisely spending their money! And certainly, the company has every right to come on here to counter the initial post. This 'marketplace of ideas' helps us to make informed decisions. There's nothing wrong with that. The readers here aren't going to make a definitive opinion about a company based on one post.
You are right in that these forums sometimes becomes a forum for name-calling or picking a fight. But in that regard, your post was no more productive than the first in this thread.
