Update: Stolen Puppies Reunited With Owner - Southern Maryland News, Charles County, Calvert County and St. Mary's County News

As luck would have it, the officer whose puppies were stolen was working today and the call was in her sector. She responded to the residence and recognized the puppies in question as her own. Thus, the puppies and their rightful owner were reunited and meanwhile the theft remains under investigation.

Glad they were found, maybe she will smarten up a bit and leave them inside from now on when she is not home.

They were taken between 5pm and 9pm the evening and the night it's cooler at that time and this happened last week before the heat came in

What's your point? So you are saying it is ok to leave puppies outside for four hours without anyone looking in on them?

Do you mean that they were stolen way back in May? Because since the start of June its pretty much been hot as balls out. Yesterday was something like the 11 or 12th day in a row of over 90 degree heat. The nights really haven't been that much cooler.

According to the article it was between 5pm and 11pm - where are you getting 9pm?

Either way hopefully these people learned a lesson and crate the puppies in the air conditioned house via being left outside for that long of time.

Do you think he really bought them? Maybe I am just cynicle because my instant reaction when I read that an "unidentified" person sold them to him was that he was the one who took them.

I think so. I can't imagine why he'd return them if he had stolen them unless he was suddenly stricken with guilt, which I doubt.

Well with all the press those two got do you really think he would be able to take them outside? for a walk? with out someone noticing them? Doubtful...

If you bought a dog from someone wouldnt you have SOME information on them? Name? phone number? address where you picked them up?

Just seems off to me... but then again maybe he is just being honest :coffee:
