That woudn't work at all for me. I'm 5'3.aps45819 said:
I doubt if you could reach the ground on mine, the seat is about 32 inches off the ground.
I had to lower it so I could ride itBS Gal said:That woudn't work at all for me. I'm 5'3.
Mine's a little bitty thing. I don't know how low it sits, but I can sit comfortably on it with both feet on the ground, so I'm guessing 12".aps45819 said:I had to lower it so I could ride it
Honda lists the seat height of the Rebel at 26.6"BS Gal said:Mine's a little bitty thing. I don't know how low it sits, but I can sit comfortably on it with both feet on the ground, so I'm guessing 12".
I haven't measured. I'm still trying to get what we now think is melted tennis shoe off my pipes. The Blue stuff didn't work.aps45819 said:Honda lists the seat height of the Rebel at 26.6"
We're riding to VT on Thursday.. wanna come??BS Gal said:Aps, how about a forum ride this weekend, but a short one for those of us who are window-lickers on a bike? Lugnut and I are thinking up north a bit (I'm thinking no further than St. Mary's Landing) and we MAY have another new rider with us if she passed today. So two newbies and the rest of you to watch out for us? I know my hubby will be right behind me because he's like father goose.
Oh, yeah. I'll be the slow one in the back with my backpack on.itsbob said:We're riding to VT on Thursday.. wanna come??

Well, we do have a trailer.. but the Beemer isn't allowed on it.. yours can fit on it though.BS Gal said:She could just load my bike in the back and I could entertain the baby all the way up?
Yeah, I'm still a little uneasy about left turns though. I think I've gotten used to putting my tire right to the line in my car. Of course, doing that on a bike gets your head into oncoming traffic. I just need to learn to put my tires in the middle of the lane on lefts.aps45819 said:You took 218 a lot quicker on the ride home
