Super Bowl Food

lovinmaryland...You should make some homemade chips, guacamole and salsa, soo good!!

Chips: 1/4 corn tortillas, fry 'em up in oil and add a lil salt
Salsa: tomatoes, onions, fresh cilantro, lime, jalepeno and a lil salt
Guacamole: Avacado and a lil salsa (from above)

We took a cooking class when we were in Mexico. I'm telling ya, it doesn't get any better...mmm!! :yum:

A couple of the gals here make Oreo ball so good you end up moving furniture just to get a few more. :ohwell:

OOh that's idea

what if instead of cream cheese in the middle you did Peanut Butter with oreo's and chocolate.

Sound good?

Take a slice of hard salami, add some cream cheese in the middle, add some sliced pepperoncini peppers, and roll it up. :yum:

I call these salami roll-ups. We make them all the time minus the pepperoncinis.

The sweet and sour meatballs are always a good bet. I'm making them Sunday as well as buffalo chicken wings. Don't know what else yet. :lmao:

Try peanut butter between two ritz crackers, put them on a drying rack over a cookie sheet and cover them with melted chocoloate, put them in the freezer to set...WOW!!

Those are good. A lady that I used to work with always made those around Christmas along with peanut butter balls.

Eclair cake:drool:, layer of graham crackers, mix 1 lg. box of van. instant pudding with one 12oz cool whip and 1 cup milk. Spread that on the crackers, and repeat, so you have 2 layers, heat one can of choc. frosting to soft and smooth over pudding of top layer. Refrig. It is best the next day. Think I have all of the indge. right.

I use semi sweet morsels and put them in a glass bowl over a pan of simmering water and stir the chocolate until it's melted. You could also melt it in the microwave but be careful cuz it's really easy to burn chocoloate. Just keep checking it, after seconds because it really melts quickly. It doesn't look melted but it is, it just keeps its shape until it's stirred.

I have also used the milk choc. morsels and melted them in the pan but like you said it doesn't take long and have to keep stirring.

My daughter experimented a little with it. Instead of oreos she used chocolate chip cookies. She used 3 parts chunky peanut butter and one part cream cheese. (I can't remember the exact measurements) and dipped them in chocolate.

They were YUUUUUMMMMMMMM.

Mmm, that does sound good. I'll have to try that. I LOVE to cook and try new things. My friends are always signing me up for something. I think I've made enough breakfast quiche, lasagna and cheeseballs for a lifetime! LOL
