I just looked at her on their site and Corgi sounds more like it. I'm not seeing Pit or Dachshund in her.
Shelters and rescues should let prospective adopters take the dog home for a few days and see how it goes before they commit. That seems more sensible to me than making them fill out a thousand forms and doing home inspections to see if it's a good fit.
That's why I tell people they are basically having a 30 day trial to see if it works for them when they get a critter from me.
I hope she is with an awesome family.
