I have this feeling that if I ever walked into a tanning salon, they'd turn me away b/c I'm so pale......I'd like to do the mystic tanning, though -- but I don't know about how natural it looks or how long it would last.

The Mystic Tan works with your own body chemistry so it will look natural. It will last for about 2 weeks. They have this booth at Tantastic in Wildewood. It is really clean there, fyi.

I haven't tanned at all this winter. No fake & bake, no tan in a tube, nothing. Pasty white.

I had someone try to tell me the famous Urban Legend of Tanning Beds Cooked

Went back to the salon yesterday, knowing full well I couldn't handle 20 minutes so I only did 8 and still pinked up. The beds at Tana Cabanna used to burn me too. I think it's the quality of the bulbs. They have the Turbo beds at the salon I go to now that don't burn me, but they cost extra so I usually stick with the beds pay 18.88 a month for. White is for laundry.

/gonna die anyway, might as well be mummified beforehand

My friend Liz has that same philosophy- gonna die, so might as well look good in the coffin!
