That's exactly the attitude that got us in this mess.

We should all want and expect more for our fellow American's. The better other people around me do the better i do.

We can certainly afford to pay people a living wage here. And we have to admit there are things its better to let other countries do.
We really should not be paying someone $15.00 per hour when they're only worth $7.25 that's what causes inflation, you can see it at every union town.

So you are anti union?

You think someone can live on $7.25 an hour in this country? That is less than $15K a year which is below the poverty line in the US.

No one is intending ANYONE live on that income. Those jobs are stepping stones to a better future and higher paying jobs, usually held by those just entering the work force. Those jobs are not intended for real adults in the real world supporting themselves and a family. Anyone who argues otherwise is totally daft.

Why bother? those are unskilled jobs we need less of. Thats not going to enrich our economy or our people by giving them low level factory jobs.
Why bother, are you anti-American employees? Unskilled? What would you know about skilled? Tire manufacturers seem to have a starting salary of around $15 an hour and employees can make up to the $60 range for those you probably would call unskilled.

There will always be a poverty line somewhere, you can raise the minimum wage to $100/hr and the poverty line will be above it.

These points are entirely contradictory....

Definitely am. I don’t care if it’s below the poverty line, if you have to pay someone $15 dollars when they aren’t worth $7.00 than it’s coercive charity.

Trump just announced a 90 days pause on all new tariffs for all the countries that are coming to negotiate, and a 10% reciprocal tariff on everyone else EXCEPT China. They were just raised to 125%

And I just read that the 90 day pause was false info, but Wall Street was taking it as real. So false or not?
