Tarriffs

Well the liberals had a sht. fit when Trump raised the tariffs. The stock market dropped.
Then most countries agreed their tariffs were too high and agreed to work on the problem.
So Trump gives them a break and pauses the tariffs.
The stock market went back up.
But did the liberals thank Trump? After all his policy did lower the tariffs on American goods.

They did not. Now they accuse him of doing the whole thing to make money off the stock market.
He told them to buy, but they were too frightened.

The MF'ers are never happy. Any Trump win makes them soil themselves. F 'em.

Ok, y'all, so here's the deal.

The news says by the end of the year we won't be receiving any goods from China, because, tariffs.

If y'all need something (I'm particularly addressing young people who have not yet accumulated stuff), send me a note. I probably have one sitting around here that I'm ready to part with.

TIA

That's a shame, would be nice if they were made here.
Possibly, but I doubt anyone will be investing billions in new infrastructure with the crazy on-again off-again changes on a whim tariffs stuff going on. Stability is required for investment, so maybe we'll see it if the next administration leaves the existing tariffs in place.

I worked most of the day at the hardware store yesterday to get the pulse of the people. Someone asked me to order some resin patio furniture for them. As I was showing the options on our website, as soon as they saw the "Made in the USA" item, they said that's the one I want - wasn't concerned about the price. People's attitudes are changing!

That's been my thoughts from the begining. I think a lot of what happens the next four years will be reversed the very next dem administration, if for no other reason than spite. Corporate America doesn't like that back and forth.

Did that set cost more than others?

I've always thought with bulky items like that we could always be competitive price wise.
