We've used John Salan for years. John D. Salan, CPA, P.C. Nice guy and his office is inside his wife's cafe so you can get a meal too.
If there isn't a lot involved why not use Turbotax or something like it? They hold your hand step by step through it all and you can claim the cost of the software if you itemize. Just a thought...

Use an online program (such as TurboTax or TaxAct). The programs walk you through the process and they are very, very easy to navigate.

I've been using Turbo Tax while owning a rental property for over 15yrs. I sold the house in Nov because I was tired of being a landlord. I'm pretty sure capital gains is going to kill me. I'm going to attempt Turbo Tax, but I might need to seek a pro this time.

I worked for H&R Blcok as a tax preparer for one season. Even though we had a few weeks of training - truth is, we pretty much just ran the program and popped the numbers in.
At least a couple times, I had a kid come in with a tiny return, and I realized he was going to lose half of it to fees - I said, here's an EZ Form, fill it out, won't cost you anything.
I DID see a lotta weird sht, though.
