A sort of strained, controversy-required game, but a nice win no matter how you cut it.

Watching the Sweden/Russia women's curling right now. Those Russian chicks are just plain hot. Sporting hot. :drool:

US mens hockey has as good a chance for the gold as anybody. They are playing at a very high level.

US women are looking very strong as well, with probably a better chance for the gold.

Yeah... the men's hockey is somewhat bittersweet. It was a great game, but I don't think pro-team players should be allowed to play. It needs to go back to the way it used to be where players from colleges and local teams were selected.

What was weird was watching our caps team captain playing for Russia. :twitch:

I'm catching up on my recordings and watching the women's USA team playing Sweden.

Olympic rules are now what they are to allegedly prevent "pros vs amateurs". If they go back to what it was back in the day, the socialist countries will still be using pros, under the guise of whatever, while the west (US) will use college kids that have no real chance against the rest of those non-pros.

obama can, of course, because of his awarded Nobel prize before he even took office, erase that with a signature of his executive pen, but he won't, because the US needs to continue to be knocked down.:killingme

Too many penalties so far for both sides, and I see, right now, Canada playing a bit sharper. 0-0 is good at this point.

Another bad giveaway by the US right in front of the goal, but shot was right into the goalie's mitt. Whew!

If those "some people" have to do that, they need to stay away from any device that plugs in that may possibly blurt out something that is happening in real time.
