Hey everyone I am not sure where I need to be...I sign my son up for t-ball and everything but David O'Neil said something about Country Lakes...Which team is this and when do practices start???
I am new to this t-ball stuff and my son and I are looking to make some new friends.. so anyone that can help me out or that might be on the same teams would ya let me know thanks

Your coach should have called you by now. My son has his first practice tomorrow (weather permitting). My husband is the coach for my son's team and he called all of his parents 1st thing last week so you should have been contacted my now. Contact David O'Neil again.

Is there a difference between soccer and baseball cleats? I'm looking on Amazon and can only find soccer cleats in toddler sizes.

Soccer cleats have a harder toe for kicking the ball. But at this age, it doesn't really make a difference. My son used soccer cleats for t-ball and never knew the difference.

When we signed up our son we were told that soccer cleats were fine for t-ball. It was football cleats that could not be used because the bottoms were too sharp. When I compared my daughter's soccer shoes to my son's baseball cleats the bottoms were quite similar. The soccer shoes are more padded on top but that was the only difference I could find.

The main difference is that soccer cleats are missing the cleat at the very front of the shoe.

I'm getting really irritated that the season opener is this Saturday and there still is not a season schedule. :tantrum

At least your kid is practicing. We never got called. I called david as someone on here suggested. He called back and said he would have the coach call me. Haven't heard a thing since.

My husband is assistant coach for Tee Ball and we still haven't got the season schedule yet either. Hopefully, we will get one on Saturday at the opening.

If its anything like football you wont know the schedule until the week of the next game.. I hated that

Just got an email telling me that practice was cancelled again tonight because the field is saturated. Saturday is going to be so funny because most of the kids don't know how to play yet. Most of the tee ball practices have been cancelled due to rain.

My son is gonna be soooo disappointed, when i woke him up this morning he said "baseball today right" :frown:

I am practicing tonight.

One differance is my kids dont want to. Something about coaching older kids they just dont care like I did when I was that age.
