Teen Suspect Charged in Waldorf Slaying

A teenager suspected in the slaying of a D.C. taxi cab driver last week has been charged in the fatal shooting of a woman last month in Waldorf, Md.

Teresa Bass was walking her dog with her husband in the Hampshire neighborhood Oct. 26 when both were shot, according to the Charles County Sheriff's Office. They were taken to an area hospital, where the woman was pronounced dead. Her husband, Jerry, was seriously injured.

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is charging 17-year-old Joshua Mebane with first-degree murder. Mebane is one of two 17-year-olds arrested last week in connection with the death of a taxi driver in D.C.

This happened right up the road from me. The cops have been hitting the streets hard looking for any information. I'm glad to see they charged someone for it.That being said...17??

That is unpossible. Waldorf has lower crime than anywhere else in MD and is one of the Top 10 best places in the world to live. I seen it on the internets.

I'll bet The Villages in FL made that story up to try and boost their ranking.

No one is raising them. Many parents have given up the responsibility of raising their kids long ago. Parents want to be their kids "friends" and not their "parents". Big difference.

If you mean executed, ain't gonna happen here in The People's Republic of Maryland. Now if his momma wanted to abort the POS 17 1/2 years ago before he breathed air, well, that's just fine here.

I fail to understand the Liberal mindset.

Psh. They aren't going to do anything to him. He's a minor. They'll give him a suspended sentence and he won't spend more time in jail than it takes to post his bail.

First... I admit I'm a creeper and I checked out his facebook page. He has his girlfriend linked and she has a few pictures that can be viewed by the public. One of the pictures of her is disturbing... not sure but that doesn't look like cigarette smoke coming out of her mouth. Interested in hearing what some other creepers (cough cough Hank) think.

Being a liberal has nothing to do with this.If guilty and I hope they hold his trial here in Charles county, he should die.

If it was one person,maybe.He blew that option ,he'll be tried as an adult.
