C'mon man! A POC, female, lesbian, pro b-ball player in a same sex marriage? Waddayou think the odds are? They will be naming streets, parks and schools after her. Hell, she may get a Nobel Prize for exposing the horrors of the Russian penal (she hates that word) system.

Ok I’ve heard hash oil since the beginning, why is CNN now saying it was cannabis oil?

I really don't think it makes any difference what they call it, unless cannabis oil is supposed to sound more medicinal. It's still a concentrated form of THC that is the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. Otherwise, they would be calling it CBD oil or hemp oil. It's sold in vape cartridges, similar to e-cigs. Super concentrated THC with little/no odor to give away it's presence. I highly doubt Girlfriend was vaping CDB oil, but I could be wrong.

CDB has been touted a long time as an elixir to relieve joint pain. It works for some folks, others not so much. Psychoactive is psychoactive. THC stimulates to brain and effects different people in different ways. What you buy at a dispensary compared to what was available in MD back in the 70s and 80s, is like comparing Everclear to a wine cooler.

I’m of the impression that they’re trying to minimize the offense. CBD has the about the same connotation as beer, but hash is in the same arena as opium and heroin.

It worked for alcohol. Alcohol sales rakes in $310 mil in MD annually through the various taxes it imposes on beer, wine, and liquor. It's not going away. The state may as well control it's sale and reap the windfall of taxes.

Alcohol in moderation is good for the cardiovascular system. Too much will destroy it. Many substances can have adverse effects, if not used moderately. Abuse is abuse, no matter what the substance.

With Liberty comes risks.

I thought so as well. The powers that be are trying to down play the substance she was caught with. Hash oil is super-concentrated THC. The Ryken kids had it back in the late 70s.

She was probably carrying typical MJ vape cartridges that may be legal in her state. Leave your state with it and risk prosecution. Go overseas with it in your possession and you're just plain stupid. In some countries it's still treated as a narcotic, but as far as chemical make up and effects, it's not in the same league as opioids.

Alcohol is poisoned sugar. There really is no 'safe' amount. Except for the little amount the body produces naturally during the process of digestion.

Hey, no problem. Happy to be of assistance to you. Are you referring to those physicians that profit from people getting ill from their recommendations by the way? You do realize that it is the repeat business that keeps physicians employed, right? Can't have healthy people running all over the place, now can we? What would physicians do then?

Only for us oldies. Didn't you see the new literature, for people under 40 there is no benefit to drinking alcohol in any quantity.

Well there may not be any benefit, but is it really harmful in moderation?
I don't drink often and when I do I enjoy a beer or a drink for it's flavor and taste and not have it affect my thinking or to enjoy the pleasure of inebriation.
Anyone who drinks to get drunk or to stay drunk has a serious problem.
get help.
