This is why I tend to not go with Electrek for Tesla stuff. Fred Lambert climbed on the Tesla hate click train a few years back and doesn't even pretend to be objective. Objectively, this is what you want to happen. The unoccupied portion shears off without taking the front half. The Model X does the same thing by design. The Gwagen was moving based of how much damage it caused even after ripping the back off the CT.
