And with the link below the circle is complete. And this is exactly the sort of thing I mean when screaming flaming headlines don't bother me. 99.9% of the time, they're like a magician's flash paper. They make the crowd go when you look behind them there's no substance.

That is good, didn't expect FT to screw it up that bad though.

I think it would have been really bad for the entire market if that was legit.

So this is a drone following an FSD test car in China. The key takeaway is that you can drop this system anywhere in the world and it will just work. I don't think India is there yet though... :)

That is pretty impressive, I must say.

Power with Control
While talking to a coworker from Australia, he mentioned that they got the first factory given to them, which gave them a leg up. I didn't quite recall it that way, but I wasnt tracking it that close back then. Turns out its a bit more interesting than that.

In 2011 they partnered with Toyota, the deal included cooperating with Tesla on EVs (in fact they did make a few Tesla drivetrain RAV4s) and selling that NUMMI plant in Fremont to Tesla for 42 million, and Toyota buying 50 million in Tesla stock. They dissolved the partnership in 2014, but held the stock til 2017. They did okay, since they turned 50 million into 250 million in less than seven years. So they got Teslas 42 million and another 250 million out of the stock.

Looking at if they held out, that same fifty million would be worth over six billion today.
