Someone gave me a gift certificate for Texas Roadhouse and I gave it away. It wasn't worth the drive for what I found to be mediocre (at best) steak. The rolls were good, but again, not worth a 15 minute drive to get them for free.

I'll probably never go to Olive Garden (again) I am not interested in Red Robin and obviously won't be going to Texas Roadhouse.

IF we get a Red Lobster I will stand in line to get my Caesar salad w/baby shrimp and the crab alfredo...and I don't like standing in line.

Please please please put an RL in there!!!

Just my two cents.

You seriously wouldn't drive 15 minutes for a free steak (I recommend the Dallas filet  )? That's funny.

You don't go there for REAL seafood! BUT, sadly, the last meal I had at Red Lobster beat the pants off the meal I had at Stoney's last Saturday. YUCK!

Nope. We ate there twice (also free...ex-hubby had generous clients) and were underwhelmed, so no need to go back. It could have been the particular location (Salisbury) I did like the chili the first time and then the next time I ordered it...:barf:

If I go out to eat, I want something I can't/won't make at home. Steak and burgers are on the home menu often.

Maybe it was the location. I've been to the ones in Bowie and La Plata lots of times and have always had delicious food and great service. Even when we get carryout, it's yummy! But we can like different things. It's OK. I'm just a huge fan of free stuff!

I love free! I re-gifted to a friend who was a big fan of the place. Win-Win situation.
