ASSAULT ON POLICE: On May 4 at 1:50 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s Lt. R. Acquaviva and Sgt. S. Stoddard were off-duty working a part-time assignment at Thai Seafood, located at 2732 Crain Highway in Waldorf, when a fight between 25 people occurred in the parking lot. The officers and additional on-duty officers responded to the fight and ordered the crowd to disperse. As the fight continued, Sgt. Stoddard deployed pepper spray. A 17-year-old Washington, D.C., boy was arrested for being disorderly and failing to obey a lawful order. Shortly thereafter, Kevin Casey, 18, of Washington, D.C., began attacking another male. When Sgt. Stoddard attempted to arrest Casey, Casey punched him in the chest and attempted to flee. Sgt. Stoddard deployed his Taser, subduing Casey. Casey was subsequently arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before a district court commissioner. The juvenile was charged as such and was released to his mother.

Dont These Kids Have Anything Better To Do Than Come All The Way To Waldorf And Cause Trouble, Keep That Bs In D.c. And Stop Turning What "used" To Be A Great Place Into A Crime Infested Place Like Dc.

Did Thai Seafood Restaurant invite the thugs? It's not the restaurant's fault, it's not the guns' fault, it's the thugs' fault.

I love Thai Food. I almost took the kids there for dinner one night. Good thing hubby stopped me. That place is horrible!

Ugh yeah they did invite the thugs. The owner rents this place out after hours. There have been countless arrests and a huge majority of them are under 18 and NOT from Chuck county. Why there are 14 and 15 year olds at at 2 in the morning is beyond me...

I see no problem with this, not to the point that the place needs to be shut down.
I've eaten there several times without any problems. Just like the mall, it's a casualty of being in PGCv2.
That said, the problems and places in Waldorf aren't as bad as you people make them out to be. Once you get your way and Thai Seafood goes
, they'll infest some other location.

Once it becomes a huge problem, I'm sure someone will do something. Right now, it's not. It's just the most ghettofied POS restaurant.

It should be shut down. The owner rents it out at night to replace lost revenue because he lost his liquor license due to the live strip/sex shows during regular business hours, which is illegal. So now the thugs are coming down from DC at night and bringing their outlaw behavior down here, as if it isn't bad enough already. I don't care if the restaurant stays open during the day but the police have just cause to shut down the go-go IMO and it's time they stopped wasting taxpayers' money running the thugs off every night and just do it!

Okay, you know a lot more about this place than I do (and I live right by it
) so catch me up here. How often are these busts happening?I say we build a wall to keep the law breaking thugs out of Waldorf.
At least they aren't out in the middle of the road watching a street race. :shrug:
