Just a note, this was not intended to be a bash on Harley riders or HArleys,
Too late. I was already crying before I got to your disclaimer.
Just a note, this was not intended to be a bash on Harley riders or HArleys,
I suppose that a bunch of crotch rockets speeding in and out of traffic would be much better.
Didnt say that, now did I. Two wrongs dont make a right. So the flying crotch rockets dont justify glacial cruisers.
Just throwing out another possible scenario.
They caught two of them on Broomes Island yesterday for over 100 in a 45 and running from cops. Also a guy crashed and died on a Hayabusa in Chaptico.

Thank you, old guy Harley Riders..... Just a note, this was not intended to be a bash on Harley riders or HArleys, just these two guys. Nothing against them, even looked them over when I was bike shopping, I did look at Harleys, but I just cant get past the cruiser riding position, I need to be upright, I suppose I imprinted that way on my first bike
I don't see the two wrongs, only one. Motorcycles speeding is a wrong. Motorcycle going 5mph or 10 mph under the speed limit.....a pain in the butt if you're in a hurry to go nowhere, but not illegal. :shrug:Didnt say that, now did I. Two wrongs dont make a right. True but a pack of bikes 200 yards long putting along is irritating as hell.
Like I said, "a pain in the butt." I probably would have turned around and found another route or gone home....or just rode with them.True but a pack of bikes 200 yards long putting along is irritating as hell.
I've read about more than one fatal accident that occured because a following vehicle got frustrated from being 'stuck' behind what they they perceived to be a 'slow' group of riders and attempted an ill-fated passing maneuver. Even though this is clearly the legal fault of the vehicle and not the group of riders, it is something that has always given me pause; I much prefer to be riding with a group that is clipping along nicely and not so likely to 'tempt' an idiot in to an idiotic passing maneuver.
Its a jungle out there.
Exaclty, if you are dead because someone was frustrated following for 10miles going 15 under tried a pass, it does not make you less dead because it was their fault.
.... you got behind a bunch of fags
They have to go slow. They don't want to fall over and have to wait for volunteer rescue services to show up in large numbers.

So you're picking on "Old guy riders"?,
I happen to be a senior citizen who rides a Harley, what's wrong with that?
