You are assuming just because they don't own one they can't honestly be a fan. I disagree.
That is your choice, but that doesn't mean other people have to think like you. For example, I personally have only ever been on a motorcycle once in my life and have no desire to ever ride one again. That being said, I love to look at Harleys of all types. I find them to be very attractive bikes. I tend to like most Harley t-shirts I've seen. Why would anybody be put off if I chose to wear a Harley t-shirt? Why would it bother anybody if I chose to put a sticker on my vehicle letting the world know that I am fond of Harley's? Who cares if my definition of fondness is only defined by looks and sound?
Your a girl, you'll never understand!!
I don't think anyone has said they were put off by any of it, I just don't undersatnd.
Like I said, there are some cars out there I love, but I won't go to their dealership to just buy a t-shirt.. And before I bought my bike I didn't go hang out at the dealerships and buy all of their "gear" (I still don't have a t-shirt, but I do have a Harley sticker, I do however, have a John Deere hat)
Posers come in all shapes and styles.. People tend to pick on the Harley posers because they are the most prevelant.. You see the guy at the bike show, t-shirt, chain on his wallet.. biker boots.. leathers.. and if you ask what he rode to the show he rode his pick up truck.. and if you ask what kind of Harley he owns he says he doesn't. BUT if he did..
