Foxhound said:I have to question weather he even owned a Harley. I mean if you ride a bike you are aware of bikes around you and what your actions do to them. Maybe he was one of those riders who doesn't ride at the slightest sign of rain! That could explain it. As Radio Patrol posted there are a lot of RUBs. The ones that want to be bad boys on the weekend (if the weather is right). I'm not saying all HD riders are like this, I know quite a few who "live to ride", not "live to show".

I didn't know anything about the guy when I bought the shirt. I liked the shirt cause I thought it looked like the guy on the packs of rolling papers.
I think not if you're someone's beatch..Pete said:After I scrub the tub, shower and toilets I am going to go ride my Harley. Wait......doea that make me fake?

What is wrong with people displaying Harley stickers even if they don't actually own a Harley... I see people with OBX stickers and don't automatically assume they live in the Outerbanks, but rather that they are a fan.itsbob said:You beat me to it!!
And ANYONE can buy Harley stickers to put on their trucks.. I know a great grandmother that use to come out on Mondays for wing night with us, she had a Harley Sticker on the back of her car. She didn't own a bike, just the sticker.
I don't do T-shirts or stickers. Just like to ride whether it's with a group or just alone. And I do it every chance I get.aps45819 said:I've had people ask me about my bike and I notice the sticker on their window or they'll be wearing a HD T-shirt and I ask what model they ride. Quite often the answer is "I don't have a bike, but if I did it would be a Harley"

I wish the Amish would pick up their horse droppings.vraiblonde said:May I just say:
Those of you who ride a motorcycle because you love the feel of the open road, enjoy and quit complaining about road debris, water and other inconveniences. You can't have it both ways.
Whatever brought that on?BS Gal said:I wish the Amish would pick up their horse droppings.
And if someone is sporting a Harley sticker, I assume they are fond of Harleys. Same thought process as yours...Foxhound said:I assume someone has been to OBX if they sport a sticker. I'm sorry if I offended any of you Harley sticker sporting pose... I mean fans.
If I had never been to OBX, I wouldn't have an OBX sticker on my truck..kwillia said:What is wrong with people displaying Harley stickers even if they don't actually own a Harley... You are assuming just because they don't own one they can't honestly be a fan. I disagree.itsbob said:If I had never been to OBX, I wouldn't have an OBX sticker on my truck..
And if I'd never been to the OBX how would I know if I was a fan or not?
That is your choice, but that doesn't mean other people have to think like you. For example, I personally have only ever been on a motorcycle once in my life and have no desire to ever ride one again. That being said, I love to look at Harleys of all types. I find them to be very attractive bikes. I tend to like most Harley t-shirts I've seen. Why would anybody be put off if I chose to wear a Harley t-shirt? Why would it bother anybody if I chose to put a sticker on my vehicle letting the world know that I am fond of Harley's? Who cares if my definition of fondness is only defined by looks and sound?itsbob said:I think it funny that someone would go to a bike dealership just to buy a t-shirt.. I would never think to do that at a car dealership. If you own a Harley that's one thing, I would hope you can get a free t-shirt out of them when you buy one, but to go and just buy a t-shirt? I love Mercedes and Porsche's, but I'm not going to go to a dealership just to get the "Metro-DC Porsche" t-shirt, and make a point of going to one of the dealers where-ever I travel to to get the local t-shirt there..
