Spike from Double T Oyster Ranch was grilling oysters at HCF on Sunday. He took advantage of the bourbon there and grilled some oysters in a bourbon butter with a little brown sugar sprinkled on top. Holy crap were they good!!!

... Double T Oyster Ranch...

I'm getting a picture in my head of Sea Monkey Cowboys riding little Seahorses rounding up the wayward Bluepoints.

It was after eating some of those at TT that I came up with a recipe for the chipotle bourbon butter that knocked it out of the park at our last family oyster feast. Nobody wanted oysters Rockefeller any more after those grilled ones came of the grill.

They call me ... Sarcasmo
Smoked Turkey
Grilled Oysters Rockerfeller
Fried Oysters
Then the usual sides. No stuffed ham, I reserve that for Christmas only unless someone buys some and brings it with them.

you are probably better off lol
Places in MD can screw anything up. Denny's burgers are usually pretty good. My mom got their Turkey dinner a while back and it was pretty decent. I like their sizzling skillets. But this was not in a Maryland Denny's.

For your consideration ...

Way way way back in the day, one could go to Landover Mall and inside dine for Thanksgiving at the cafeteria there, then stroll down to the theater and watch a movie afterwards.

Someone suggested Boston Market in Waldorf as a place to carry out hot food from but I think they closed.

Looks like Bob Evans has a carry out Thanksgiving Day meal for 6 that is served HOT for $86, not bad. I bet you have to reserve it pre-paid though? They also offer individual platters too for $16/$18.
