“Contrary to the promises and representations made to Lemon, once Defendants were enriched and gained the benefits of using Lemon’s name, likeness, identity, and reputation, they reneged on their express agreement with Lemon and have failed to compensate him, citing to false pretenses for their breach of the partnership agreement,” the lawsuit reads.
Musk terminated the agreement after Lemon challenged the eccentric billionaire in a heated interview.
“X executives used Don to prop up their advertising sales pitch, then canceled their partnership and dragged Don’s name through the mud. You don’t have to be a genius to see the fraud, negligence, and reputational damage here,” Lemon’s attorney told CNN in a statement.
The lawsuit says X agreed to pay Lemon $1.5 million create video content, with additional ad revenue incentives if he posted it to X before other platforms. Since Musk bought Twitter and rebranded it, high-profile creators have begun posting video content onto X, and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson launched his new show on the platform. Musk has allowed X users to monetize engagement, a policy that has dramatically altered news consumption and viral content on the platform, especially because of Musk’s free speech approach to the site.

One man said he was making more money four years ago than now, which led to Lemon saying that the economy has never been more robust. Again, the media cannot accept that no one trusts them because voters know what life was like under Trump. They see their checkbooks. The best part is Lemon trying to list off Harris' supposed record of experience, which is visibly dismissed by the voters he encountered.
That’s not to say that New Jersey isn’t a blue state—it is—but Lemon likely would have found more Kamala Harris supporters in Morris County, a former Republican stronghold that has flipped. South Jersey isn’t with Kamala. By the number of Trump 2024 flags I saw in Ocean City this month, roughly 30 minutes, you’d think the Garden State was ruby red.

When you always HAVE enough money to get by - when you have the kind of money that doesn't have to check the price of a thing before you decide to buy it, unless it's an expensive car or a fourth vacation home - the concept of food going up 50% doesn't affect you in any way.
Nothing made this more apparent than the myriad of looney Hollywood and Washington types who thought of the pandemic as an extended staycation, showing off their opulent homes and freezers stocked with high-priced ice cream. Ignoring the people in, say, NYC who couldn't leave their tiny apartments.
