That silly "Religion of Peace"

Those peaceful people who follow the "Religon of Peace" sure are showing how peacefully peaceful they are. Again. Or is that still?

Muslim cleric calls for beheading of Dutch politician - Yahoo! News

Anyway, peace out!

I simply must agree that the Muslims do go to extremes in seeking peace.

It is like taking the rotting apple out of the bunch so that it will not infect the others.

It would be better if the Christians or the Dutch would police themselves to shut-up that racist and religious bigot but no.

Or if that Dutch bigot politician would apologize and make amends and thus repent then he too could join in making peace.

It surely does appear that the only ones seeking after peace are the followers and respecters of the religion of peace.

The people calling for the murder of someone who has a different opinion are peaceful?

That's like Obama and Biden saying that the unemployment rate going up means that the job situation is getting better.

Your logic is just, well, um....

Now tell the truth, you left your computer (bought with my tax dollars) turned on (using electricity bought with my tax dollars) and connected to the internet (paid for with my tax dollars) while you went to watch your big screen TV (bought with my tax dollars) using electricity. Then a monkey broke in and banged away on your keyboard and created that moronic drivel you posted. Right?

Oh, I guess it really is you. Not even a monkey is rude enough to blatantly make fun of the mentally handicapped.

I see that process as following the example of Ronald Reagan who called his ten warhead MX Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) as "Peace Makers" until they were deployed and then he changed the ICBM name to "Peace Keepers" so the method of threatening murder is a well established way of promoting peace.

No, do not repent to God.

A person is to repent to those offended, so that Dutch bigot needs to repent to the Muslims.

:shortbus:

I see, so an apology is not good enough.

If Wilders apologizes for his bigotry, should the cleric apologize for threatening Wilders' life? Or is the cleric justified in threatening his life?

What's worse, being a bigot or threatening to murder someone for being a bigot?

An apology would not be enough.

The cleric owes no such apology nor repentance, but if the person did take back his words and made amends then the cleric surely would withdraw the call for his head.

And the threat is not really because of that person being a bigot - no, it is because he is a powerful politician calling for and promoting violence and hatred and bigotries against the religion of peace.

The Muslim cleric is re-acting self defensively.

So, since I adamently disagree with you I am within my right to threaten to behead you and owe you no apology. I mean you have, in no uncertain terms, called me a bigot, racist, and intolerant. I should be higly offended by your words and you should pay for your remarks against me. Is that how it works? Or, are only Mulsims justified in being offended and allowed to make death threats towards those that disagree with them?

Here, here! People should not be free to express themselves! If they do, "OFF WITH THEIR BLOODY HEADS!"

:yay:

Then again you are a Democrat... so tell me again how you're all for freedom of choice, and freedom of expression - right after saying the above.

It will amuse me if you say that.

Or if that Dutch bigot politician would apologize and make amends and thus repent then he too could join in making peace.

Maybe he should curl up in a fetal position and suck his thumb while he's at it. Maybe he should kowtow to any bully who stomps in his direction for any reason, right?

What a wonderful world it would be if everyone collapsed into a spineless mass any time a bully takes umbrage at things people say.

It surely does appear that the only ones seeking after peace are the followers and respecters of the religion of peace.

I agree that movie would not qualify any person on the subject Islam, but surely it is a big help in the right direction of understanding Islam.

And to learn about the great Muslim warrior king called "Saladin", and how he whooped the invading crusaders.

Link = Quotes from Movie "Kingdom of Heaven".

You boast about Islam being the "religion of peace" when all along you disregard the Truth that Jesus is The Prince of Peace. Compare the teachings of Jesus to those of Muhammad and see if it isn't a bit more clear which one is the Peaceful One:

Teachings of Jesus compared to Muhammad

Jesus (known to Muslims as Isa) taught:

1. Love God and fellow man - even those who may be your enemy.
(Matthew 5:44) (Matthew 22:37-40)

2. Forgive others. Do not seek retribution and abide no longer by the rule of "an eye for an eye" (Matthew 5:28-48) (Matthew 6:15)

3. Put away the sword, for those who live by the sword shall die by the sword.
(Matthew 26:52)

4. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called "The Children of God."
(Matthew 5:9)

5. “I Am The Way, The Truth and The Life; no man can come to The Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

Muhammad taught:

1. Oh slaves of Allah (Muslims) Obey Allah and invite all mankind to embrace Islam. Strike terror into the hearts of "Unbelievers" and slay those who do not accept Allah and smite the necks of those who do not believe that Muhammad is the prophet of Allah. (Qur’an:047.004)
(Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 14, Number 2635, Narrated Anas ibn Malik)

2. It is legal to seek vengeance and retribution in like manner: "A life for a life" and a Muslim who shall abandon Islam shall be killed.(Imam An-Nawawi's Book - Hadith #14)
(Sahih Bukhari: Volume 6, Book 61, Number 577, Narrated 'Ali)

3. Paradise is found "Under the Shades of Swords."
(Sahih Bukhari: Volume 4, Book 52, Number 210, Narrated Salim Abu An-Nadr)

4. There cannot be peace until Islam rules over all as the true religion on earth. This earth has been made only for Muslims to inherit and Muslims are commanded to fight until "faith in Allah prevails everywhere." (Qur'an: 008.039)
(Sahih Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 8, Number 429, Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah)

5. "It is obligatory to love the prophet more than the members of one's household: one's child, father or even the whole of humanity"
(Sahih Muslim: Book 001, Chapter 17: Number 0070)

Quite a contrast.

What really amazes me about JP's blather is that he claims Islam is THE religion of peace - not A religion of peace, but THE religion of peace. Yet he justifies such atrocious violence as the beheading of someone that simply exercised their right to freely speak.

It certainly could be said that the Native American Indian religion is one of peace, and Buddhism is basically another religion of peace, but I do not see why those would take away Islam's claim as "THE religion of peace" since Islam makes that as its most highest of virtues.

And it disputes as with Christians then surely Islam is the only one of those 2 seeking after peace since Christianity is by far mostly preaching only hostilities and bigotries and a Christian peace based on injustices.

As to the Dutch politician preaching his ignorant bigotries against Muslims then he is abusing the concept of free speech with his hateful words.

You boast about Islam being the "religion of peace" when all along you disregard the Truth that Jesus is The Prince of Peace.

I say "Christianity" and not Jesus Christ because there is a huge difference from Jesus and those that take His name.

Of course Jesus is the "Prince of Peace" but Christianity certainly is not.

It would be a huge improvement if Christians would follow the words of Christ but that is not the reality in this world.

Your post is incoherent and pointless. I don’t care how ignorant someone’s speech is it does not justify death threats. Given all the insulting criticism thrown your way and your sympathetic stance on such barbaric behavior, one can only surmise you have a hit list of beheadings planned.

You are a pseudo-intellect who is impressed by himself alone and you possess a significant lack of understanding of the Muslim religion. The Bible states that Ishmael was an ass of a man and all of his people will be marked (paraphrased)

Any religion that rules out of fear and has tenets of retribution and belief under penalty of death, seems to miss the point as far as I am concerned. I will acknowledge that more people have been killed in the name of religion than any other wars, and that the early church was corrupt and misguided.

I choose to follow a God that seeks or desires a relationship with me, that I follow out of love and under no threat of death, save eternal death for not accepting him into my heart.
