That silly "Religion of Peace"

Whoa there! The flag is a sign of patriotism, not religion. We have many soldiers who are not of the Christian faith. They stand for their flag and country - not a religion, and they battle for flag and country - not a religion.

I do believe that most if not all of us that voted for Barack Obama expected him as President to put a quick end to the Christian crusades that mis-use our American flag for their dastardly deeds, but that is not being done as quickly as I would like.

I cannot think of ANY of our stated goals which came anywhere close to "conversion" or anything remotely related to conversion or suppression of existing religious practices.

I have not heard any muslims complaining about being forced to abandon their religion or switch to a new one.

There is no goal more disgusting and trashy then the American "Christian" goal of having the Muslim women to take off their clothing and to go exposed as do the Christian American women.

Try to "think" of that one.

The Sport Illustrated Muslim Swimsuit Issue never crossed my mind. I would hope they would be given ample time to shave first though.

I can think of one right off the top of my head...

Go into a bank JPC and try to wear sunglasses or a ball cap. They will tell you that you have to remove those items. It should be the same for a Muslim woman.

Due to security, every person entering a bank can not wear anything covering their face or head. There is nothing trashy about that. It is the rule for EVERYONE - so no one person or group is being singled out.

You must be kidding. I had no idea you had such a sense of humor.

Christian crusades......dastardly deeds.....

You have actually read the documentation that was passed for us to be involved in the many military actions we have been pulled in to and have seen the reason to be listed as "Christian crusade"? Or any religious reference whatsoever? Or are you taking a singular Bush "misspeak" to heart?

What in the blue hell are you talking about?

As far as I'm aware buck-nudity is not a Christian value. If - by some glimmer of chance - you're not talking out of your ass, and if removing Muslim women's clothing was a goal of the "crusade", you can bet the farm that it's not because Christians said God said to.

And unless you show me some documentation that the Government and Military are claiming to act at the behest of God, Jesus and/or the Holy Ghost, your usage of the word "Christian" is nothing more than deception by implying a secular action is divinely inspired.

Now you try to think on that one.

Your disgusting! That mentally handicap bus suit you just fine.

I have never heard of American's that wanted Muslim women to take their clothing off.
It's the garment that they wear on their head that people want remove. Not their clothes.

So it's a double deception.

He makes it seem like we're trying to strip the middle east of their clothing.

He's also trying to make it sound like it's a "Christian" thing - when it is, in reality, a security thing. (and completely secular)

Nice try though.

Of course, It's nothing more then a smoke screen. He's lies and twist things when it suit him.

As most have already notice that he only post on the forum when running for office. If he really care about this and other issues he would have been posting before he ran for office and after he loses. But he doesn't.

I truly believe he'll say anything if he thought it would get him some votes.
It's about all getting votes, nothing more then that. He's two face to the core.

Now you've done it GERUCH!!! You have dared JPC without actually saying those exact words to stay on the forums after he loses next week just to prove you wrong.

And all of us were hoping he would crawl back under the rock next week.

That mentally handicap bus suit you just fine.

It is a simple school bus, and if some mentally handicapped person(s) do ride in such a bus then that is their business.

So if it does suit me than I agree that is fine too.

I say the religion of Peace views school buses in a higher regard than do some so-called Christians.

I agree that it is a "secular" demand and not a true Christian demand because this is about so-called Christians who do not follow Jesus.

Another word for secular is infidel, as in infidelity to Jesus and to God.

:shortbus:

Once again, you are wrong JPC. I am not sure how you got that secular and infidel are interchangable....one means "wordly" things not regarded as religious and the other means a person that does not accept a faith.

Definition of secular:

sec·u·lar   /ˈsɛkyələr/ Show Spelled[sek-yuh-ler] Show IPA
–adjective
1. of or pertaining to worldly things or to things that are not regarded as religious, spiritual, or sacred; temporal: secular interests.
2. not pertaining to or connected with religion ( opposed to sacred): secular music.
3. (of education, a school, etc.) concerned with nonreligious subjects.
4. (of members of the clergy) not belonging to a religious order; not bound by monastic vows ( opposed to regular).
5. occurring or celebrated once in an age or century: the secular games of Rome.
6. going on from age to age; continuing through long ages.
–noun
7. a layperson.
8. one of the secular clergy.

Definition of infidel:

in·fi·del   /ˈɪnfɪdl, -ˌdɛl/ Show Spelled[in-fi-dl, -del] Show IPA
–noun
1. Religion .
a. a person who does not accept a particular faith, esp. Christianity.
b. (in Christian use) an unbeliever, esp. a Muslim.
c. (in Muslim use) a person who does not accept the Islamic faith; kaffir.
2. a person who has no religious faith; unbeliever.
3. (loosely) a person who disbelieves or doubts a particular theory, belief, creed, etc.; skeptic.
–adjective
4. not accepting a particular faith, esp. Christianity or Islam; heathen.
5. without religious faith.
6. due to or manifesting unbelief: infidel ideas.
7. rejecting the Christian religion while accepting no other; not believing in the Bible or any Christian divine revelation.
8. Also, in·fi·del·ic  /ˌɪnfɪˈdɛlɪk/ Show Spelled[in-fi-del-ik] Show IPA. of, pertaining to, or characteristic of unbelievers or infidels.

No. Another word for secular is not infidel.

"Infidel" directly regards someone's religious beliefs.
"Secular" avoids touching religion at all either positively or negatively.

Easter is an infidel holiday (from the POV of, say, a Muslim).
Labor Day is a "secular" holiday.

Future reference: Avoid tenuous pedantry to win arguments, especially if you're a bit shaky on the actual meanings of things...

Do any of you women out there wish they could wear a burka to work instead of business attire?

Do any of you wear bathing suits at the beach or pool against your wishes?

Do you wear shorts in the summer because your Christian faith told you to take your clothes off?

Do any of you wish you lived in a muslim country so that you couldn't make those decisions for yourself?

The word "secular" is a made-up word by white-Christians, link HERE, and it was made-up as a derogatory term with severe religious implication, so it does mean the equivalent of an "infidel" because it is used to mean a separation from Christianity which is the same as being an infidel.

The dictionary definitions are intended to fool people that Christians are secular when they kill Muslims so secular makes it not a sin for the Christians which is not true.

That does demonstrate as most of the rhetoric here that it is just racial and religious prejudice against the Muslims by pretentious Christians.

And God blessed Ishmael as a great nation, link = Genesis 17:20.

Of course that blessing does not fit into your kind of Christian bigotry.

:shortbus:

That is taken of context, as God was talking to Abraham about desiring a son and asking God to bless him because he was born of the handmaid and not Abraham's wife.
