The Atheist and the bear

The big pic.

Only the Christian bears..
 the final point must be said:

that the bear might pretend to be Christian and give prayer that sounds Christian,

but in its actions and in its food that is a false Christian of a bear. :snacks:

I'm pretty sure that Genesis says God created everything. Where do you get your information?

Most people I know who pray before eating humbly ask God to bless the food in Jesus' name. That is not presumptuous or "nonsense."

Thou shalt not contradict the omnipotence of JPC.

He knows what you think!

:coffee: Peter saw a vision and it said the people were clean and not the animals,

but the best point in that story is that Peter said he Peter NEVER EVER ate unclean foods, link HERE.

So that means that Peter who walked and talked with Jesus was NEVER EVER told to eat unclean food.

Therefore Jesus did not make the unclean food into being clean before He died and certainly did not do so in a vision to Peter years after Jesus was crucified.

And even if the bear was a Christian then it still had no business killing and eating the man just because he said grace first.

:duel:

People are clean and animals are not??

Who'd a thought, Dahmer is the only one amongst us going to heaven..

Let's see what Jesus said about clean and unclean food and drink.
Mark 7:14-23

14After He called the crowd to Him again, He began saying to them, "Listen to Me, all of you, and understand:

15there is nothing outside the man which can defile him if it goes into him; but the things which proceed out of the man are what defile the man.

16["If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear."]

17When he had left the crowd and entered the house, His disciples questioned Him about the parable.

18And He said to them, "Are you so lacking in understanding also? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him,

19because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?" (Thus He declared all foods clean.)

20And He was saying, "That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man.

21"For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries,

22deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness.

23"All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man."
And as the ascended Lord spoke to Peter in a vison.
Acts 10:9-16

9On the next day, as they were on their way and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray.

10But he became hungry and was desiring to eat; but while they were making preparations, he fell into a trance;

11and he saw the sky opened up, and an object like a great sheet coming down, lowered by four corners to the ground,

12and there were in it all kinds of four-footed animals and crawling creatures of the earth and birds of the air.

13A voice came to him, "Get up, Peter, kill and eat!"

14But Peter said, "By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy and unclean."

15Again a voice came to him a second time, "What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy."

16This happened three times, and immediately the object was taken up into the sky.

JPC, you are totally wrong ... again. I think Mark 7:18-19 was given for people just like you. And what proceeds out of your "mouth" or in your case, typed by your fingers may just defile you; see Mark7:22deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. Its not my call, but I think you may need to reassess your beliefs.

I do not see your words as lying but more like just barbaric and you do not speak for Jesus at all.

I just have to know - did you really think that there was a talking bear, who's first words were to speak a thanks for the human he was about to eat?

Or, do you just like to spout BS?

I'm sorry, but this one almost made me spit up the Samuel Adams lager I was imbibing! :killingme<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

I quote directly from the Bible. You just refute what the Bible says. If you do not agree with the Truth, then you spout lies.

Not at all.. I've never wished harm to a Christian or non-Christian.. or found humor in a Christians demise solely because he was a Christian..

I do not see that. When I read most of your posts in this forum, there seems to be a derogatory aspect which is usually against some Christian or Biblical principle. You seem to take the position of almost any other religion or even atheism over Christendom.

While there are misguided people proclaiming and doing all sorts of things in the name of Christianity, that does not mean those people are actually Christians. Remember Jesus said that many that said they did things in His name He does not know. I think many of the Crusaders were not Christian and they did great harm to the cause of Jesus.

I do not rejoice at the demise of a non-Christian. I do not wish anyone to wind up in hell. Quite the contrary. I wish everyone would find God's gift of salvation through Jesus. That includes you, wx, X, JPC, all the detractors.

A Christian will stand up for Jesus and proclaim the gospel. He will not go around killing people that don't want to become a Christian. As Jesus said, you will know them by their actions. If the actions of the person do not reflect the love of God, then maybe their heart is not filled with the Light.

A Christian may make mistakes and may sin, but a Christian will seek forgiveness and, according to the Bible, they should seek the forgiveness of the person wronged before seeking God's forgiveness.

That may all be true, but I myself have never found the demise (death) of a christian soley because they are a Christian humorous.. or that of a Jew.. or a Mormon.. or a 7th Day, or any other religion. I have my opinions of all of them, but in the end they are all fellow humans, and don't see how ones dying because he doesn't believe what I believe as humorous.. and seeing some DO find it humorous you have to think.. Yes, the brainwashing is almost complete.

I've never told a joke where a Catholic dies in the end because of their belief.. or any other Christian for that matter.. Have to wonder who amongst us truly live by Christian principles..

Now see, "brainwashing" is derogatory. If someone is a Christian, they are not brainwashed. If you had left that off, I could have seen your post as a valid comment and not an attack.

I see people who find pleasure in someones misfortune as misguided. Maybe they are Christians but have not grown into the maturity needed to show Jesus' love. Maybe they are not really Christians. I don't know their hearts, but God does.

I love JPC as a person; I find it hard but I am commanded to do so. I know that JPC preaches heresies. Everyone including satan are not saved. Hell is real.

The Bible is the word of God. He, by his own admission, does not believe in the Bible.

When he proclaims a heresy, I am bound to proclaim the Biblical truth. I do not post my own thoughts; I post scripture in context. If I do not post the scripture refuting the heresy and anyone is led to believe the heresy, then I would be guilty of neglecting my duty to proclaim the gospel.

It would be wonderful if JPC would suddenly see that the Bible is the word of God and conform what he preaches to what the Bible says.

None of this addresses JPC and his politics which I do not agree with, but I rarely address him on that subject anymore. I did tonight. Said that he is a liar. I think he is. I certainly have been an antagonist of his regarding politics in the past. I would like to say it was tough love, but in truth, it was my frustrations coming out. I don't believe I have sinned against him overtly.
