I'm pointing out your hypocrisy on the issue.

If a Democrat governor wrote a law declaring that counties and cities can't adopt their own laws because they don't like something a Republican did, y'all would be in outrage mode major.
See, it's not a R/D thing, it's a content thing. If a Democrat said, "cities cannot make laws restricting the right to bear arms", we R's would be in full favor of that. If a D wrote a law that said, "cities cannot make laws that allow for sanctuary of illegal aliens", we R's would be in full favor of that. If an R wrote laws to the contrary of the last two examples, we R's would be fully against that.

It's content, not party.

The constitution specifically restricts the federal government from getting involved anywhere but very specific places (and, granted, we ignore the living #### out of that routinely). Can you show me somewhere in the NC Constitution that restricts the states from getting involved anywhere but very specific places in city governance?

Also, the law where government employees can refuse to issue marriage licenses to gay couples because of religious reasons.

Is this all-inclusive? What I mean by that is, if there is only one employee ever at a given government office that issues marriage licenses, can that same-sex couple not ever get a license? If everyone in a given office has an issue, is it acceptable for that office to never issue the license?

I ask because it is pertinent. If a same-sex couple wants to register their relationship with the government, will they be denied that ability to register their relationship, or will employees be allowed to opt out unless there's no one else to do it.

The reason it is pertinent is because it defines whether this is the right of the employee to freely exercise their religion or a restriction on the rights of same-sex couples who want to register their relationship with the government.

It's a made up problem on both sides. I'd wager 90% of the population never gave a second thought to the anatomy of who is in the public restroom with them. It's the vocal minority that has made this an issue, to the extent where pandering politicians are coming up with absurd legislation in an attempt to save us from the trannies.

:yay:

Don't ask, don't tell. Keep yo privates private! I honestly don't care who's peeing in the next stall to me - I just don't want to see or know about it. I'm there to use the facilities not yak about who's got what and where.

Besides, if you're flaunting and showing it off - then I think you probably have other motives and I'd call you out on that anyway. You'd be a perv no matter what the gender. :yay:

That having been said - I would like to keep the Men's rooms and Ladies rooms what they are.

Of course, Diamond and Silk's thing is mostly done tongue in cheek, so to speak. :jet: But they're right.

I think there is craziness in suggesting this is a human rights issue. For a handful of people? For the minority? Really? It's just really crazy. The people bringing the lawsuits have psychiatric issues - "me, me, me, all about me".

A lot of public facilities now have a third bathroom for men/women/families/and is also wheelchair accessible anyway. The problem is easily solved. NO fuss/NO muss. Where I work there is a third bathroom which is also more handicapped accessible than the other 2 - which already ARE accessible. The 3rd bathroom has a "men/women" symbol out front and it is used by anyone at the office. Men OR Women AND can be also used by anyone who might have a wheelchair. Problem is solved.

The Bathroom 'Freedom Fighters'

The most excitable cultural leftists at exotic publications like The New York Times argue that the rarest of rare exemplars of gender confusion having the liberty to use the wrong restroom is a human right on par with those who suffered lynching or racial segregation. This epidemic of "discrimination" — making those assigned a penis at birth [should be conception] use the men's room —is apparently everywhere. Outside the most liberal cities, it is supported by a large number of Americans.

On this issue, Springsteen is at his most ridiculous: "Taking all of this into account, I feel that this is a time for me and the band to show solidarity for those freedom fighters. ... Some things are more important than a rock show, and this fight against prejudice and bigotry — which is happening as I write — is one of them."

Go to Dallas or Pittsburgh or Memphis or Detroit and read that quote to people. They will burst out laughing. But go to New York City and watch some saddle up their horses.

The media in Manhattan are lionizing Springsteen for being a gender identity guerrilla. ABC's sappy Steve Osunsami reported: "Bruce Springsteen, the rock legend who honors veterans and stands up for heroes, is refunding concert tickets today in protest of the new North Carolina law that rolls back protections for gay families and stops transgender residents from using the bathrooms they need."

So he can back out of his contract and not perform, not make his product, because he doesn't agree with a law giving heteros protections, but a baker gets sued and loses their business because they didn't want to make a gay wedding cake??

Anybody recognize the dual standards here?

Only liberals have a right to dual standards.

Wi Spa transgender exposure suspect finally arrested

The protests continued for several weeks until Andy Ngo reported that police had filed indecent exposure charges in the case. He also discovered that Darren Agee Merager had a record and was a registered sex offender.

Law-enforcement sources revealed that Merager is a tier-one registered sex offender with two prior convictions of indecent exposure stemming from incidents in 2002 and 2003 in California. She declined to comment on the convictions. In 2008, she was convicted for failing to register as a sex offender.

Suddenly it seemed a lot more likely that Merager was lying about what happened at the spa. And then more information made it look like part of a pattern.

A judge in Los Angeles County Superior Court issued a second arrest warrant for Darren Agee Merager, 52, on Sept. 8 after Merager failed to appear at a hearing related to six felony charges of indecent exposure in connection with a previous case at a West Hollywood swimming pool. Merager, a registered sex offender in California for two prior convictions of indecent exposure, identifies as a woman, but law enforcement sources said that’s a ruse to get into women’s-only areas…
Sources tell The Post that Merager had been banned by Wi Spa back in 2019 due to customer complaints of an erection in the women’s section, but Merager wasn’t recognized by the front desk in June because they were wearing a mask.

The swimming pool case was separate from the spa case and also involved Merager exposing himself to women and young girls. There were other allegations of similar behavior that hadn’t resulted in an arrest or charges. But in the Wi Spa case,

Today, the Daily Mail reports that after 15 months hiding from the police, Merager has been arrested.

When people show up wearing their black uniforms and masks, they should be arrested immediately. Anyone protesting legitimately should do so without masking themselves.

Police stand around with their thumbs up their ass while violence is being carried out.

Yep, and anyone with a skateboard should be watched like a hawk and tased if they raise the dam thing. Aint none of these jokers riding them to the protest, they are weapons plain and simple.

One of these days there will be bloodshed. Especially as long as the police stand around and do nothing.

Yeah, but bloodshed, large scale, is the only thing that is going to scare the leftists back to their mommies basement for good.
