The Boy Is Coming Home!!!!!!

In Uncle Sams infinite wisdom...
...he's back to work 2 days b4 Thanksgiving.
We'll spend a week or so (he's going to his fiances moms house as well) spoiling the hell out of him and we'll spend an evening thinking about his fellow service personel who will not, ever, be coming home again and thinking about their folks and siblings.
We'll try to drink a beer for every one of them, fall apart, speak ill of those who see their service as wasted and when he leaves we'll cry again with that same feeling we had at his boot graduation:
Awe.
When he left for Hood before Iraq I was pissed at him over something STUPID. I made sure I wasn't around when he left. Didn't say goodbye.
The good part is this boy has grown into twice the man I am.
You all, we all, are well served.

Does he (or his unit) like venison slim jims/jerky? If so, I would be happy to get a bag or two to you for him and/or his unit.
