I didn't see any sarcasm...there are plenty of Christians who work in the inner cities and deal with violence & vandalism & burnouts & theft. Agreed- they too deserve tremendous gratitude & support for their efforts. At least the government is openly hostile against them and our Police would be somewhat able to support them too (or am I being too idealistic?). They are unlikely to be attacked by a frenzied mob while serving Thanksgiving dinners...

Note to Homesick: They weren't chopping their heads off because they were Christians, they were chopping their heads off because they fell into one of the following groups: Americans, and people aiding the Americans. They wanted us to leave them alone.

I play paintball. That's a moronic statement. Just beccause someone plays paintball doesn't mean they're being trained to kill people. Paintball guns are horribly inaccurate. What about all of those christians that play paintball? I guess they're being readied for the Klan. I was raised mormon and was beaten because of it once when i was younger too so you lose there to experience. Wake up and come out of your world, religious tolerance is only slightly better here than it is there.

Nickel, I know, and too, because they're Christians. I know what it's all about, I know Americans are hated, well not only us, those people hate everyone! The people that perform these atrocities don't want to come here. They don't want us there and they aren't trying to get here. The people that come here do want something nicer and that's why they come. But there are people here in this country like there are people in that contry that don't want them here. Like in both country's these people are a small percentage of the population, but for some reason no one seems to notice that. The people that did this to that chistian was a small group of extremists. But when a small group of religious extremist in the US (The KKK) does something to someone of Jewish or Islamic faith it pretty much goes unnoticed.

Have you ever lived anywhere else? Most of the people who come here recently are from very poor nations or nations with dictatorships. You no longer see a large mass of western or northern Europeans or Japanese, coming to the U.S.

My family moved to Chicago from Poland in the 20's cause they were poor. Not because they were catholic, that was incidental.

Okay, I'm following you now. Sorry, for loosing it. Like you said, you are speaking of an experience, one cannot argue with that. It's usually what I do, too. Sorry if you've been mistreated. I just love this country so much and it's people. I truly wish all would be good to each other. It's a dream, might as well dream big.
