Better grab as many off the shelves as you can.

I keep thinking about Zombieland and Tallahassee searching for twinkies.

They are right there, dip####!

How the hell long were their employees on strike?

If it was so long that they had to shut down, I would've fired them all and hired new ones -- lots of people looking for jobs out there.

From what I understand all the other Unions went along with the give backs ,all but the bakers Union. So not "all the unions are bad".I think you will see twinkies and such still around ,just sell the brand off to someone else and they will make them.

Probably true and perhaps with non-unions workers. Afterall, how long does it take to teach someone how to make a twinkie?

That is what you could do in a right to work state.

It's what you can do in any state. If the contract in question is up,then they can chose to "outsource"if they like and have others bake the products. Why not just hire scabs to bake, why close,it doesn't make sense?

Having Fun!
How will they even have 'St Patrick's Day' without the green snowballs ? :jameo:

And the pink ones, too!

(Okay, don't sweat it -- somewhere, I saw someone making these from scratch. Of course, they might not have quite the same stretchy marshmallow quality but they'll work if there's nothing else. Now I just need to remember where I saw it....must check Food Network.... :jameo:)

Would THIS face lie?
Damn George Bush... All his fault. Now we can't even eat a freakin Twinkie...

Ya hear about the little girl that was eatin a twinkie. Her Mom took her to a Barber Shop for a haircut. She sat down in the chair with her twinkie in hand. The Barber started to cut her hair and told her, "You're gonna get hair on your Twinkie" to witch she relpied, Yeah, and Momma said my tits would get bigger too"

Executive compensation is insanely out of control in this country...and what's worse, to me anyway, is how disconnected the compensation seems to so often be from company performance.

Not that it excuses the union excessess....but considering that private union membership is so small (what?..about 7 % of the workforce and falling?), the excessive executive compensation issue is certainly more widespread.

In My Opinion
How are fat people around the world going to be able to pin this on President Bush?
Will obama step in and bail them out only to force them to make a Mecelle approved healthy alternative to the tasty treat we are going to lose?

so many questions.

I don't want scabs on my Twinkkies!

But then again, maybe you eating two dozen of those favorite treats will make you make more intelligent posts.

I bet you Twinkies will be made in Mexico one year from now.

Apparently I have never fed my kids a Twinkie. I asked them and even showed them a picture and neither has had one. I feel like they are now missing out.
