I have been here in Maryland for two weeks now, and had the chance to speak with people from all over.. The 60's and 70's where great, the music from that era set the bar for future artists. I'm 39, and I think a great Mix of 80's and 90's and those who are making music today really make for a Great sounding station. There are NO consultants, NO outside influence.. OK, we are working out the rough spots now, I decided to wait a few days to start the Morning show, getting the Music right is my first concern. Now, with all of this said, give me a few days to iron out the rough spots..then start your hate mail. I hope you will listen, We are building this station for Southern Maryland.

Well i listened for about an hour and a half this afternoon. Sounds okay to me...too much 90's pop crap on there for me. I miss the classic rock. I did hear "Runaway Train" Good to hear that. Playing too much of the same old 80's thats all over the place I wanna hear the good stuff!!! Is it just me or are all the stations going to the same thing?

I don't listen to it, most of the time I can't get it. I can always get 98.3.

And I love the '80's, so I couldn't be happier about the new format.

PS...one radio station is not "all over the place".

LoL...I've heard it other places but I only think of the stations programed in my radio. Dont get me wrong though, I love my 80's but I wanna hear Guns and Roses..Def Leopard...ACDC...Ratt...Stuff like that, I get tired of pop all the time. I heard that stupid "steal my sunshine" song this afternoon. I hate that song. I give it too him though he plays more stuff that I want to hear. T and Heather played some random stuff sometimes!!

I heard "steal my sunshine", too. It might be a cheesy song, but it made me smile and wanna' move. :getdown:

I only hate that song because it got played all year for like 3 years after it came out. In the middle of winter. I just got sick of hearing it. He did play some things I havent heard on the radio in a while. I would like to see a request forum for 98.3 on here.

Listening to Def Lepperd, Guns and Roses, Ratt, and the such makes me want to puke. AC/DC I could listen to for a short period of time.

I'm glad I am XM so I don't have to listen to crap that I don't like.

I was raised on that. I woke up to Guns and Roses every sunday morning. Just because I was a baby back then doesnt mean I dont like it now. I couldnt even tell you whats popular today. I dont listen to anything but 80's, classic rock, and a little country.
