Just giving you all a heads up.
Why? Because I care.

Your scaring me :bawl:

BTW, do you or anyone know anything about Tow-Haul mode on a truck  I know from experience this seems to have a higher tolerance for mph speed before switching gears, etc... could this be an equivalent to 4 wheel drive or something? Would it be best to drive in tow-haul mode if you don't have front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive

Pete? Didn't you own one of these trucks not long ago? Did this work for you?

TIA all!! :huggy:

Makes it so the transmission won't go into overdrive? Might help in the snow/ice?

:bonk: No that will keep your vehical in a lower gear and provide more torque. Not what you want in snow.
You shouldn't have anything to worry about since you still have the bags of sand in the back of your truck we told you to get last time it snowed.

I thought about that... but I didn't want the bags of sand because the cats would tear them open and use them as litter boxes. Then I thought of other things such as firewood, etc... but I just couldn't bring myself to do this. I park in a garage at work next to BMSs, Lexus(s), porche's, expensive cadillacs, etc... and here's my pos truck with mud and wood sticking out in the back.... it would have stuck out like a sore thumb and I'd be dreadfully humilliated and embarassed in front of coworkers and attorneys, etc... I decided it was easier to just not go to work on days it snows and sticks. :frown: It's a totally different atmosphere down here with "city-folk" - although I generally don't cowtow and am myself... but driving around that thing and folks expecting to see a big burly and dirty lumberjack in the front seat was a little too much ... :frown: :bawl: But it's only temporary, I hope to trade it in for something with 4wheel drive next year...

Oh dems, I'm sure the wood wouldn't make a difference... we'd rather you be safe... for heaven's sake please put some firewood in the back of your truck...:huggy:

Don't worry about the other peoples cars, especially if yours is paid for  I use bags of marble chips or white gravel in the back of my truck, in the spring, use it around your garden
