I could say the same thing about you darling... There is a serious mis-interpretation going on here. What you are saying LOOKS like the meaning of the verses, but IN CONTEXT, it isn't.
Wrong IT. I do see how reasonable people can come to your belief system. I do see how the Scriptures seem to support both your interpretation and mine. The problem is that the Holy Spirit is not leading the two of us in different directions, so one of us is wrong. Each of us say it is the other. This is the point at which we end up arguing authority, and I'm happy to go over the Scriptures again for anyone else who is interested.
Reasonable people can be creationist or evolutionists. Reasonable people can be atheists, agnostics, Protestants, Hindus, and Catholics. Does that negate that I believe there is One Truth? Not at all. But if faith is a gift, how can you condemn those who don't see the beauty of Jesus Christ?
