What FAT little babies! Adorable, just plain adorable. ICit, you know you want one. Go for it. You deserve a bundle of pure cuteness, and so do you Mama!
Because Mama is a rescue dog my local Humane Society has offered to help w/fostering, shots and spay/neutering. 6+weeks is a looong way away; I intend to enjoy and love them as much as possible until...
I do too!I loooooove when they start developing little personalities and start playing with each other. Those little barks/growls are adorable. And....it's weird but I love puppy breath.
Less than 3 days old...growing like weeds; Mama such a great mama dog!!
If I can talk my wife into it, would we be allowed to adopt a female?
I've already started to think of names! The brown one looks like a sweet Caramel to me - and the brown and darker brown one - well that one makes me think of those Rolo candies. so Caramel and Rolo, for sure. They're so sweet looking - I can't even imagine 10 pups squeaking and wiggling.

Thanks for the name suggestions!
I haven't witnessed a dog having puppies since I was a kid; it was pretty amazing. Just when I thought Mama dog was finished at having 10; several hrs. later she had another-I missed that birth.
They are movers and shakers for sure-I didn't realize how much they crawl-at less that 3 days they were all over the whelping area-under bedding and even outside of the pen. They are durable lil creatures. So far I haven't had to supplement their feeding; Mama is doing a GREAT job!
Pups are 1 week old, yesterday Mama dog decided she wanted out of whelping box area. She paced all over the house looking for a suitable place to move her babies. I decided to use a nearly new dog igloo for her new abode-worse she could do is not go in. I set it up in the sunroom; put the gating around it and lo & behold she went right in! We'll see how long this lasts.
Mama looks so happy! Thanks for posting the progress of the fabulous family!

The pups are cute, but I'm partial for mama dog. She looks sweet
