5 Healthiest Restaurant Kids' Meals | Healthy Eats

The two comments at the bottom:

The PB&J is okay, but no way I'd feed my kid chicken and especially fish. Fish are loaded with toxins and not at all healthy, especially for growing bodies. Of course we don't eat at restaurants like those listed anyway.

I agree with the above comment. I do not allow my kids to eat meat when dining out because of the fear of mass-produced meat. If we want meat, we eat it at home and buy it from a reputable farmer.

Those people will be the first to starve when something goes bad and we're all left eating pink slime to survive. Their bodies won't know how to digest it.

And their poor kids, they'll never have the joy of hearing "two 5-layer beef burritos, nachos bell grande and a mountain dew" :lmao:

Pink slime? I hope this evolves to Soylent Green.

They would rather feed their child concentrated carb, white processed flour and high fructose corn syrup laden bread, slathered with emulsified fat and scary amounts of sugar..than give their kid chicken  People are strange.

Yes, those are some strange people. I don't think it gets much healthier than chicken (except veggies, lol). Of course, getting chicken nuggets (is it really even chicken? :killingme) or fried chicken isn't healthy but grilled chicken certainly is and most places have that option. I'll be honest......ever since hearing about this whole pink slime crap, I haven't eaten ground beef. It just skeezes me out! :barf:

I was food squeamish when I was a kid. One time my aunt remarked that butterscotch pudding looked like baby poop and I wouldn't eat any for years. I read some article about how there are x-number of bug parts in just about everything you eat, and I went on a hunger strike.

Now, however, I'm over it and pink slime doesn't disturb me. I've been eating and enjoying ground beef since I had teeth to chew it with, and it hasn't hurt me any. A burger on the grill still tastes just fine to me. They take some benign substance that we've been eating our whole entire lives, give it an icky name, and suddenly we're grossed out.

Well not me. Gimme that burger!

I find it hard to eat chicken now that I have some as pets.

Oh and I saw a video a worker recorded of chickens and how they are handled. No wonder so many have broken bones when they are packaged up. The people were slamming them into walls and generally handling them rough. Not every handler did that, but the few that do need to be reassigned to a different job. Now every time I see raw chicken with a broken bone I assume it happened during the handling when the chicken was alive to feel it :bawl:

ok ok I'll stop - I still eat chicken ... for now.

I only buy boneless chicken... so my chickens have nothing to get broked when they are slammed up against the wall...

I also only use eggs from the store... I can't stand the thought of eating eggs that come straight from a chicken butt...:twitch:

I'm not a huge fan of birds, but I REALLY loathe chickens. Nasty little bastages. It doesn't hurt my feelings to know that the wings I'm eating came from some filthy jerk of a chicken who got what he deserved when they bashed him against a wall.

You'll be happy to know that they have found a way to synthesize ketchup, so no more harvesting ketchup trees!
