No. I don't hate Catholics. I think you are using the hate card for those who disagree which is wrong because that is manipulation. People who don't have any power or feel powerless usually use manipulation. People should be allowed to disagree. That is why people are afraid of helping others because people can accuse so you might find yourself in a nursing home one day with people being very very careful around you because you can accuse anyone at any time.

Megachurches do cause problems for residents and there are ordinances or special permissions needed to have a megachurch. Imagine taking 60 minutes to leave the parking lot and having volunteers place cones to show people where not to park. This is why townships have rules and cities should have rules in place before a Pope is allowed to visit.

1. The Pope isn't "allowed" to visit, he, like any other head of state, is invited.

2. Rules in a city for a visit from a head of state or any other dignitary are called procedures, policies and plans. And yes they have them, you saw them in action. Sadly, security is required for any visiting dignitary. The Pope, more so than others, due to the fact he is the leader of the world's largest church.

3. Please tell me you aren't relegating the Catholic church to a "megachurch" comparison. It's a real church, Joel Osteen has a theater and business.

4. Pretty sure you don't hate Catholics, just a strong dislike for the Catholic religion. How's that?

Nor I. And remain on that list.

"illegals are pilgrims" Correction..they're murdering thieves!

Maybe it would be better if you said "some are murdering thieves"? After all, not all Irish immigrants were worthless drunkards, not all German immigrants were Nazis, not all Russian or Chinese immigrants were commies, and not all Hispanic immigrants are murdering thieves.

Please be careful what you put in quotations. What the pope said was, “The Church in the United States knows like few others the hopes present in the hearts of these 'pilgrims.'” I don't know if the pope was referring to illegals specifically because he's not particularly in favor of illegal immigration, but regardless, the Church cares for people whether they are here illegally or not. They focus on the human compassion side of things like food, clothing, shelter, and sometimes education if it can be managed. Besides, I have a feeling if you ask any Native American they'll tell you the pilgrims were illegal immigrants and in their eyes you and I both are illegals as well.

If you could pull that atomic wedgie you are currently experiencing off your head and point out somewhere that I got "all worked up" about your pope, please?

Oh, you can't. Have you recovered from your papal orgasms yet?

MD catholics - gotta love 'em.

"Francis' comments about immigrants that will be most sharply felt as the U.S. deals with the twin crises of Syrian refugees and an immigrant invasion from Mexico and Central America, both of which the Obama administration has taken steps to pacify by loosening America's borders as a show of compassion.

'Thousands of persons are led to travel north in search of a better life for themselves and for their loved ones in search of greater opportunities' in in North America, he said. 'Is this not what we want for our own children?'

'We must not be taken aback by their numbers, but rather view them as persons, seeing their faces and listening to their stories, trying to respond as best we can to their situation. To respond in a way which is always humane, just and fraternal.'

WIthout naming Syria, the Muslim faith, the ISIS terror army, or any of the European nations that have hedged their bets again welcoming the tide of migrants displaced by Islamist armies, Francis noted 'a refugee crisis of a magnitude not seen since the Second World War.'

'This presents us with great challenges and many hard decisions, he said"

We are the most loving, caring and giving country there is. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but come on..."take more in"..."give more." I'd like to know how we do this, Francis? It takes tons of money to feed, house, etc. Myself, I can't afford to be robbed further or soon I too will be on the street!
