the thompson family has been serving food to all customers regardless of race for many decades. If the couple went up to the counter and ordered, they would have been served. They must not have followed procedure.

I haven't been in awhile, has it changed? It was you place your order at the counter and seat yourself.

I'm thinking BigBlue has either a 1) hidden agenda or 2) this didn't occur at Thompson's maybe somewhere else and he made a mistake when posting and won't correct himself or 3) it never happened or 4) it was him and he got mad because he never got served and now feels like an arse realizing he didn't follow the counter order process and got angry and embarrassed for no reason.

But if he thinks you get seated first and a waiter is supposed to show up, this has to be a different place he's referring to.

Just ate at Kevin's for the first time - YUMMY! The rockfish bites were good, the fries were perfect (though way too many of them), and the service was fast!

We'll go again.
