The food wasn't all that, fishy even. The service sucked, and the manager was a lost cause.
Sounds like my last experience there. I hadn't been back since, but it appears it might not have been a random problem since you experienced the same thing. :ohwell:

So much for, "Tides Restaurant A Gift To A Fast Food Town".

I think I'll stick to Stoney's, Clarks Landing, Nook & Monks, etc. Tried and true. I don't need a fancy scmancy atmosphere (which really wasn't all that anyway) when I dine. I want my food to taste good and I want my server to be attentive.

I have been to all these restaurants and it was way mediocre to me
Maybe its just me but the Tides restaurant is ways above any restaurant i have had the chance to visit. But let me state "i dont think its for everybody"
One mans meat is anothers poison,if you know what i mean.
I have been going there every other friday and its always packed full of i think middle and upper class folks or maybe they just have better taste!

I've eaten in some damn fine establisments in my lifetime, none of which were on my list. Those are good, but not fine dining. But then, Tides isn't fine dining, either. It's just another wannabe.

Nope, never worked there. But someone at my table said her lunch was bitter.

I'm entitled to my opinion, so pizz off.

Unlike you, I don't believe everything I read. You sound like someone who runs a POS restaurant and can't handle the criticism.
