I dont think its up to me,maybe you should pass that on to the management or call the post

I could care less, but you seem to have your panties in a wad over someone giving it a bad review. If you really wanted to prove that wrong, you would make the call yourself.

The only agenda I had before you became an ass was to post my experience and my opinion. NOW I have an agenda, and if it's your restaurant, I hope you lose your shirt.

Oh, and if you do lose your shirt, remember that I was instumental in that, because I will tell EVERYONE I encounter what a horrible experience I had there.

I'm a little puzzled as to why you find it so difficult to grasp that someone has a differing opinion than you do. So, not everyone likes the Tides. It doesn't make them right or wrong. It just means that they think differently than you do. Big deal.

Frankly, I like the place, but only during the 1/2 priced happy hour and lunches. I wouldn't go there for dinner and spend that kind of money they charge. But that's just me. Don't persecute me for thinking differently than you.

I DO?!?!?!?! Hell, I never noticed. Someone must be hacking into my bank account and stealing all my big bucks, because I'm not seeing them.

Actually, I am too cheap to spend my money on high-dolla food when I can be just as satisfied with eating at reasonably-priced establishments that offer good food at a value. I can still splurge on and appreciate good food and nice ambiance, but only during 1/2 price. I'd rather save my money on something more worthwhile than paying some maitre'd a salary or trying to pay for some fancy bathroom fixtures. I'd rather spend my money on ME!!! :diva:

I don't make the big bucks, but when I do spend my hard earned dollars, I prefer it be worthwhile. My experience today was most disppointing.

I can understand and wholeheartedly appreciate your opinion.

My experience there has somewhat limited, and I've found no fault with the Tides other than the high prices. That's why I go when the drinks and some of the appetizers are discounted.

re: Tides

Seems that the Tides is suffering an issue that is all to prevalent in new restaurants.

They start off with a bang; great food, attentive service, a great experience from the time you walk in the door until you leave.

But... Success breeds complacency, and they fall into the depths of mediocrity. The ones that thrive, realize consistency, and attention to the smallest details will keep the tables full.

I have eaten at some very, very fine establishments with food that had the height of flavor, aroma, and texture and service that was impeccable in various place in the world.
Truly five star restaurants and rated that way.

I have not tried Tides yet. I plan to and hope it has not peeked and pooped already.

Perhaps strippers would help?

:spank:

I noticed signs for a chain of restaurants on I-95 that have strippers serving the food. I bet the patrons are not too worried about what is on the plate.
