Observations10. Sit on a Vespa Scooter for 30 minutes and proposition every chick that walks by saying "Hi I'm APS wanna ride?" with a lisp, the giggle maniacal.
That's cool you're willing to teach you son the proper way to do things :yay:

Good luck, I hope they can fix you up.
I hope so too. Pain meds and some kind of therapy would make me happy. I'm too young to be having this problem. Next week we are moving DR's mom up here from FLA. I want to be able to help.

picking your crack? :twitch:
You are bad. No, I had him picking me up and cracking it. You know, he was kind of jumping up and down with me in his arms to crack it. It cracked, but that wasn't the problem apparently.

Friend went in the afternoon and said the crowds were gone. He bought a new FJR1300 for himself and a V Star 650 for his wife.

I went yesterday and looked at the BMWs. I'm thinking that I like the R1200GS (non-Adventure, but with the Adventure-esque trim package) more that the K1200R. The K1200R definitely looks cool, but it's a much lower seating position. I like the height of the R1200GS. Maybe next year...

Either the GS or the adventure will be my next bike for sure..

The Adv has a HUGE gas tank.. but hard to say if anything on the ADV is worth the extra 4k.. you can outfit a GS nicely for 4K..

Yeah, I'm thinking that I don't need the big tank. Most of the time, I'd be riding with Harley guys who need to stop for gas every couple minutes anyway. Also, the non-ADV has some pretty cool expandable hard bags. You just move a metal bar and they extend about 2".

I haven't met anyone that has the factory bags on their GS.. They all have Jesse's or Micatek's. HUGE aluminum boxes.

My longer rides I'm usually by myself, but I still can't see myself going 400 - 500 miles between gas stops.

I still haven't taken one out for a ride yet.. One of these days I'll go to Mortons and take one out, but not until I'm more ready to buy one.

So what do you think now that you have seen the pix and specs?

BTW we will be selling the Buell Blast soon. Going to keep the Seca 2.
