I'm getting such a kick out of this thread..:lmao:

I've got DishNetwork. You buy a DVR receiver, hook it up and select the shows you want. Or hit the big red button on the remote that says "Record". So easy, and no additional fees for the DVR. I'm going to trade in the DVR I have now and get the dual-tuner DVR. Again, no additional cost for the second "built in" receiver or DVR recording.

Well that sure beats my method of recording with my VHS camcorder mounted on a tripod pointed at the tv.

Tivo experts....

I keep getting errors while trying to access the Tivo service (first time set up). Says Tivo Service not available or not answering
